Dancin' in the Rain!

I love the rain SO much!  And I love puddle jumping even more!  Today was the most perfect rainy day EVER and my roommate surrendered to my childish excitement and went puddle jumping with me after our classes.  It was so fantastic!  I don't remember the last time I had that much fun.  It was free, easy, and the joy it brought was contagious.  It seriously took me back about twelve years to when Kassie and I used to cut holes in black garbage bags for our heads and arms and then go outside to play in the rain, bounce on the tramp, jump in the best puddles, and splash in the gutters.  I found a new challenge for myself today: not let the seemingly bleak events and experiences of life get you down.  The lesson I learned is this: each rainy day, has the opportunity to shine brighter than the sun.  Each dreary trial or tribulation, has the opportunity to bring a smile to your face.  We just have to let it.  We can choose happiness or misery.  Let's choose happiness daily, whether rain, snow or sun.  A quote I've always loved says, "Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain." Live your best, learn to dance through life, love what comes your way, and find a reason each day to smile and laugh. :)
