My Mom is the best EVER! I love her SO much. She is such an example, support and strength in my life. This is us at the Salt Lake Temple before I got to go through for the first time! :)
My sweet nephew,
Aiden. What a bursting little ray of sunshine this kid is. He is such a blessing in my life and quite possibly (easily, in fact) my favorite person in the world... and he's only 6 months old. Imagine what will happen when he gets a little bigger ;)
Preston Benjamin Rutter. Possibly the very best friend I've made this year here in Provo. Such a great guy. Amazing friend, incredible Priesthood holder, and one of the funniest guys I've ever met. He's taught me so much about living and loving and leaving people better than you found them. I was so lucky to be able to serve in my BYU ward as Relief Society President alongside Preston as Elder's Quorum President. What a blessing! I hope I do everything I can to keep this friendship going forever :)
My roommates. And
Slurpees. McKenzie Lowe, Stalina Schummacher, and Me. Dang I love these girls. I am so blessed to have them as my roommates and friends. They keep me on my toes and keep me laughing. Truly a witness to me that our Heavenly Father is mindful of us and sends the perfect people into our lives at the perfect times.
Not abiding by Liberty Square restrictions. Liberty Square is the name of the complex where I live. Before the 4th of July they handed out this lame Memo that said fireworks on the premises where not allowed. So naturally we had to buy some and keep them perfectly out in the open on our table, with the memo atop them. Apparently there's a little rebel inside me.
Fireworks! And the
4th of July! Definitely my favorite holiday. Being with family and friends, celebrating the amazing country we live in, making pancake breakfast with Kylie Bills, barbeque lunch with my ward, water fight with Michael Carter, James Holden, Daniel Stuetz, Marissa Blake, Charne Van Jaarsveld, Courtney Carroll and Caitlin Gogarty, outdoor make-shift concert with Yorktown 12, meeting a new friend, Rachel Carter, and a slight sunburn. What more could a girl want!?!
TEMPLES! I love the Houses of the Lord. What amazing places. Truly they are refuges from the world and places of powerful revelation. More than worth every sacrifice and struggle is takes to live worthy to go there.
Kylie Anne Bills. My super great new friend. Also my Relief Society Secretary. This girl is AMAZING! Also, she is an exact replica of me. We are so similar that sometimes it scares me. I love it though! She's one of those people that when I met her for the first time it didn't feel like the first time. Definitely felt like I'd known her forever. Another friend I hope to keep in contact with no matter what. Seriously I LOVE this girlie!
Rain. I love love love it! Random Summer rainstorms are the best! I've had many chances lately to take a run in the rain. There are only a few things that I love more than running in the rain. It just clears my mind and is the best outlet.
Laser Tag! A new found talent and joy of mine. I dominate. Yep I sure did take first place. 36 kills and only 4 deaths in a half hour. Oh yeah!
